SOP ( Students Outreach Programmes) & Awareness Events / Meetings, etc at Schools & Colleges for JUTE JDPs

NJB's  organisation of  "Students Outreach Programme" (SOP) at Dr.MGR  University,  Chennai

Dy. Director (T.Ayyappan) of  NJB (Chennai)  organised  "Students Outreach Programme" (SOP) at  Dr. MGR University,  Chennai,  an  initiative  of  NJB  for  creating  Awareness among  students  about  Jute & Jute diversified products.  The  SOP  programme  was organized among  Fashion  Department Students of  Dr. MGR University, on  12^th  April’2022.  More  than  60  Fashion Department  Students  actively participated in   the  SOP event.

          

          The  Plastic  ban  announced  by  Tamilnadu  Government,  was  also  well explained  to  the Fashion students  of  Dr.MGR  University,  clearly showing  the perils  of Plastic  Pollution.   Students  made  good  interaction  with  DD(TA),  about  the  various  applications  of  Jute  Products.

Dy. Director (T.Ayyappan) of  NJB (Chennai)  organised  "Students Outreach Programme" (SOP) at DAV  Girls Senior  Secondary School,  Chennai,  an  initiative  of  NJB  for  creating  Awareness among  students  about  Jute & Jute diversified products.  The  SOP  programme  was organized among  Senior  students of  DAV  Girls Senior Secondary School, on  15^th Feb'18.  More  than  300  Senior students  actively attended   the  event. 

          The  Plastic  ban  announced  by  Tamilnadu  Government,  effective  from  1st Jan'2019  was  also  well explained  to  the students,  clearly showing  the perils  of Plastic  Pollution.

Director (T.Ayyappan) of  NJB (Chennai)  organised  "Students Outreach Programme" (SOP) at DAV  Boys Senior  Secondary School,  Chennai,  an  initiative  of  NJB  for  creating  Awareness among  students  about  Jute & Jute diversified products.  The  SOP  programme  was organized among  Senior  students of  DAV  Boys Senior  Secondary School, on  16^th Nov'18.  More  than  250  Senior students  actively attended   the  event.

Director (T.Ayyappan) of  NJB (Chennai)  organised  "Students Outreach Programme" (SOP) at Children's  Garden  Higher  Secondary School,  Chennai,  an  initiative  of  NJB  for  creating  Awareness among  students  about  Jute & Jute diversified products.  The  SOP  programme  was organized among  Senior  students of  Children's  Garden  Higher  Secondary School, on  31^st Oct'18.  More  than  100  students  actively attended   the  event.

MPO(TA) of  NJB ( Chennai )  visited Salem  and  organised  "Students Outreach Programme" (SOP), an  initiative of  NJB  for  creating  Awareness among  students  about  Jute & Jute diversified products.  The  SOP  programme  was organized among  Fashion Dept  students of  Sona  College of Technology on  7^th Oct'15.  More  than  60  Fashion students  attended   the  event  and  actively  participated in the  Jute Quiz  programme about  Jute products & Jute industry.

MPO(TA) of  NJB ( Chennai )  visited Madurai  and  organised  "Students Outreach Programme" (SOP), an  initiative  of  NJB  for  creating  Awareness among  students  about  Jute & Jute diversified products.  The  SOP  programme  was organized among  college  students of  N.M.S.S. Vellachamy Nadar College,  Madurai on  23^rd Jun'15.  More  than  600  students  attended   the  event  and  actively  participated in the  Jute Quiz  programme about  Jute products & Jute industry.   Mega  LED  screen  was  arranged for the  Jute presentation

MPO(TA) of  NJB ( Chennai )  visited Bangalore  and  organised  "Students Outreach Programme" (SOP), an  initiative  of  NJB  for  creating  Awareness among  students  about  Jute & Jute diversified products.  The  SOP  programme  was organized among  fashion  students of  National  Institute of  Fashion  Technology ( NIFT ),  on  27th Apr'15.  More  than  50  students  attended   the  event  and  actively  participated in the  Spot  Quiz about  Jute industry.

NJB's  organisation of  "Students Outreach Programme" (SOP) at NIFT-TEA, Tirupur

As  part  of  "Students Outreach Programme" (SOP)  initiative, MPO(TA)  visited Tirupur  and  organised  SOP  programme  among  fashion  students of  NIFT-TEA,  on  25th Mar'15.  Nearly   150  students  attended   the  SOP  Programme.  Prof. K.J. Sivagnanam, Vice-Principal, NIFT-TEA, Tirupur,  and  various  other  senior  Professors were  also  present  during the  Presentation.

During the  SOP,  MPO  also  organised  Jute  related  quiz,  in  between the  presentation  and  awarded  Jute  Prizes  to the  winning  students.    Students  actively  participated  in  the Jute  Quiz.

As  part  of  Promotional initiative and for creating awareness, National  Jute  Board (NJB)  participated  with  Lifestyle  Jute Products, in the  exhibition  held during Annual conference of the  Indian Society of Paediatric Radiology,  held during 12^th & 13^th  September 2014  at  Christian Medical College ( CMC ),  Vellore,  and Organised by Department of Radiology, Christian Medical College, Vellore.  Jute  Conference  Bags for the delegates  have been FREEly sponsored  by NJB.  2  Jute  entrepreneurs  shared the  stall  and  sold their Jute products under NJB banner
